Valentines Evening Saturday 14th February from 7.30pm

We are kick starting our season of evening events with Valentines Night on Saturday 14th February from 7.30pm. What better reason to spoil a special person, the evening will start with a sparkling cocktail and entrees followed by a delicious three course meal and petit fours to finish off, set within the candlelit cosyness of the restaurant and garden room. Valentines Cocktail - brandy, grenadine syrup, raspberries and prosecco
Parma ham, pecorino and rosemary crisps and beetroot and goats cheese crisps

Starters
Wild mushroom soup with parmesan crostini and truffle oil
Tempura tiger prawns with sweet chilli dipping sauce
Chicken mouselike with homemade piccalilli, sourdough bread and side salad
Tea smoked pigeon breast with pine kernels and pancetta

Main Course
Pan fried sea bream with mussel and white wine sauce
Pork medallion wrapped in parma ham served with a prune and armagnac sauce
Rib eye steak, triple cooked beef dripping chips, moon blushed tomatoes and Batemen beer battered onion rings
Pan fried duck breast with morello cherry and port sauce with puy lentils braised with rosemary and garlic
Creamy mushroom ragout with village oak cheese, red onion and chive mash

Apple and raspberry maple nut crumble with homemade vanilla ice cream
Rich chocolate mousse with macadamia brittle
