New for 2013 - Craft Workshops at Abbey Parks Farm Shop

We are very excited to announce a new adventure at Abbey Parks Farm Shop, starting in Febuary we will be having different workshop days in the garden room at the farm shop, begining with a textile workshop, we will also be holding funiture painting workshops and hopefully upholstery workshops, all dates and news will be posted on the website so please keep checking if this sounds interesting to you.

The textile workshops are to be held on Tuesday 12th and 26th February and Tuesday 12th and 26th March and Thursday 7th and 21st February and Thursday 7th and 21st March. In the workshop day you will learn how to turn old scraps of fabric and lace into cushion covers, tablemats and wall-hangings. Upcycle those embroidered and lacy old table cloths, doilies and pillowcases that are taking up space in drawers and cupboards to make cushion covers, wall-hangings, quilts or duvet covers. Make a bed runner or table runner incorporating many of the sewing techniques used in quilting. Make a simple bag using up scraps of fabric. The day includes lunch, teas and coffees and a selection of fabrics all for £35 per day.
